Curt Haines Joins Affinity Technology Consultants

HARRISBURG, Pa.--Curt Haines, an information technology operations and revenue systems expert, has joined Affinity Technology Consultants, a leading professional and advisory services and consulting firm.

Haines will join the Affinity team as senior technology advisor, specializing in revenue, gaming control systems, data center consolidation, and technology operations. Using his extensive expertise of I.T. issues, policies, platforms and innovative projects, Haines will provide senior level consulting services to governmental and private entities in the United States and abroad.

Prior to joining Affinity, Haines worked for the state of Pennsylvania for 32 years -- 22 of which were with the Department of Revenue, where he eventually served as deputy secretary and chief information officer.

“I am excited to join the Affinity’s team and use my knowledge and experience in a whole new setting,” said Haines. “It also is a great time to join Affinity as it continues to expand its business base.”

Haines served as project manager during the state’s successful implementation of the world’s largest slot machine control and monitoring system project; an immense three-year effort. He also was project manager for the Office of Administration on the DataPowerHouse project, which involved the successful operational outsourcing of 20 state agency computer operations.

Highly involved in writing and evaluating all public procurement documents, Haines was an essential part of the teams that successfully negotiated billions of dollars of public contracts with the private sector.

Haines received a bachelor’s degree from Grove City College, and completed graduate level work in public administration at the Pennsylvania State University, as well as additional formal training in a variety of IT areas.
