NavRisk Policy is part of the NavRisk Suite, a comprehensive risk management solution which facilitates highly effective underwriting and policy processing, automates administration and management of claims, provides online collaboration between internal and external stakeholders and offers sophisticated loss control and prevention capabilities. The complete suite consists of NavRisk Policy, NavRisk Claims, NavRisk Central and NavRisk Catalyst.

NavRisk Policy 4.0 includes a robust Business Rules Engine which provides clients with the ability to automate processes and tasks associated with policy administration and underwriting. Due to the highly paper and workflow-centric processes required of managing policy information, automating key processes can provide significant cost reductions. Customers may take advantage of the out-of-the-box rules or create rules specific to the needs of their organization. The business rules engine is designed to be very intuitive with easy drag and drop capabilities, allowing for the creation, testing and deployment of new rules without the need for technical staff or additional programming cost.

Other new features include:

• Flexible Diary system provides users with a daily view of activities, such as current renewals, open quotes, and other relevant information
• Digital Document Management system centralizes electronic files to the relevant policy, coverage and policy holder or member
• Enhanced user interface personalization to improve the overall user experience

NavRisk Policy 4.0 is built on the Microsoft .Net Framework utilizing several key technologies including SQL Server 2005, Office 2007, and Windows Workflow Foundation.
